Evaluación de calidad de aulas virtuales mediante el uso de rúbricas en carreras de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste
Abstract
This article presents the quality evaluation of virtual classrooms carried out in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, corresponding to three undergraduate courses from Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, through the use of an analytical rubric. The research corresponds to a doctoral thesis, within the framework of a CONICET research grant.
The research is based on the qualitative approach, the interpretative educational research paradigm and the case study methodological strategy; hence, the results distinguish differences, similarities and issues to be improved in the didactic proposals in the virtual classrooms under study, predominantly in the learning assessment system and the tutoring plan system. To this end, the analytical rubric was designed as an evaluation instrument, applied to the Virtual Campus of Medicine, where the quality of these virtual learning environments was evaluated in disciplinary, pedagogical and technological terms.
After the methodological development, the findings and the evaluation evidences obtained as results, gave rise to an emerging proposal to expand two dimensions of the rubric, referred to the evaluation of learning and the tutorial role in virtual environments, evidencing the relevance of this type of instrument in the evaluation of the quality of these spaces, due to its versatile and flexible nature.
