Abstract
The text presents a critical and political approach to the research project and to the exhibition Perder la forma humana. Una imagen sísmica de los años ochenta en América Latina (Losing the human form. A seismic image of the 1980s in Latin America), which was first shown at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS, Madrid) between October 2012 and March 2013. In November 2013 the results of the research project were shown at the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI) and from May 2014 they will be in Buenos Aires.
