The exhibition Perder la Forma Humana – Una imagen sísmica de los años 80 en América Latina curated by Red Conceptualismos del Sur addressed a multiple amount of artistic and political experiences that are presented as part of a complex network of critical events that redefined political action in post dictatorial Latin American context through new forms of expression where the body takes center stage. The question that articulates the horizon of this project is how to keep alive a critical memory on these experiences and how to update those propositions in our present.
