Abstract

This article presents the design and construction of a device named guarded hot plate, which will allow the heat transfer test of different materials used in the development of an Eco-house to be carried out. This analysis will help to improve the design of the structure's passive heating and cooling systems, in response to its need to maintain the desired temperatures. The conception of this development was thought to be built in part with low-cost and recycled materials.
