Abstract
This paper reflects on the activation of listening during the prolonged period of confinement as a result of the pandemic, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The balconies, terraces and patios became public spaces of sound production, where social and political tensions played a role at the heart of the audition. How we could think of listening as a social practice? Beyond the verbal and visual and with the regime of the senses affected, this scenario was built as a territory crossed by affective processes. The connection with others were channeled through listening, and politics was also experienced through sound and listening.
