Abstract
In recent years (trans) feminist artivism has been characterized by gaining a greater presence in public spaces, relocating the ability to listen as a reflective, political and performative tool. The Chilean artivist collective LASTESIS, through the performance “Un violador en tu camino” (2019) has managed to exponentially replicate a hybrid interbody, gestural, visual and sound staging. I will address here her sono-corpo-political resonances from the concept of performative listening to investigate possible articulations between sonority, corporeality and materiality.
