Abstract
In 1984 Juan Pablo Renzi held his first retrospective exhibition at the Castagnino Museum in Rosario, entitled Juan Pablo Renzi. Obras. 1963-1984. A version, with subtle modifications, was presented at the CAyC in Buenos Aires the following year.
Exhibitions, by managing and establishing meanings, construct narratives about the art of a given moment. Addressing the institutional dimension of this curatorial project will allow us to reflect on the tension that runs through it: between the recovery of Rosario's avant-garde and the project of internationalization of Argentine art.
