Abstract
This article addresses the design of two museum spaces: the exhibitions “Use and function: Poetic-political objectualities of the ESMA”, at the Conti Cultural Center, and “From heaven to home. Connections and intermittencies in Argentine material culture”, at the MALBA Museum. The main objective is to relate two ideas about Design, regarding the spatio-temporal context of the exhibitions. The analytical perspective focuses on understanding History, Material Culture and Memory as vectors of meaning able to characterize the testimonial space and the neutral space.
