Abstract
Over these last thirteen years, the curatorial projects of the Museum of Art and Memory (MAM) have been embedded in the political guidelines of the Comisión Provincial por la Memoria (CPM). Since its inception, the CPM has conceived the museum and its exhibitions as another tool of its human rights territorial policies in the Province of Buenos Aires. The MAM’s artistic track record focuses on the construction of memory of our recent past and the defense of human rights today. In this regard, it condemns violence in the prison system, maintains a close watch over the fair administration of justice and unconditionally supports the democratic system.
