Abstract
Darío Ares’s work looks at urban violence through an aesthetic approach to one of the most disturbing and dramatic realities of the contemporary social scene. On the basis of the material from his own journalistic archive, Ares designs his necrographies, which can be seen as an attempt to address this social tragedy with the city as its privileged setting with a sensitive tone.
