Abstract
This essay presents the Nuevos Museo Energía de Arte Contemporáneo through the lens of ten exhibitions that took place between 2010 and 2018, the period during which the project occupied a physical space. Through this selection of projects, we propose to reflect on the ways in which a set of disparate subjectivities morph into institutional voices and how institutions become subjects of affect and emotion. We also explore some of the queries, questions, desires, and institutional frustrations that moved La Ene in every project and the curatorial practices and methodologies developed during these processes, both within the project and from its collaborations with others.
