Abstract
The present article inquires on the historical account that the Museo Travesti del Peru builds upon a counter reading of peruvian history. In a methodology shared with Queer Theory, Giuseppe Campuzano moves the transvestite figure out of the margins to manifest the realtivity in the diferent stories that build up hitory as we know it. Through a ‘transvestite identikit’ which is present in the first chapter of the editorial version of the museum, the artist develops a discourse which articulates indigenous, colonial and post industrial temporalities in order to create a new field of discussion upon different historic and curatorial experiences.
