Abstract
This work seeks to analyze the lack of signaling at level railway crossings in rural areas. In these areas there is a lack of adequate signage to warn vehicles of the imminent arrival of the train, which increases the risk of accidents, not only in rural areas but throughout the national territory.
That is why this work proposes the implementation of low-power renewable energies from an Off Grid system (without connection to the electrical network) for the lighting and signaling of rural and level railway crossings, focusing on those located in the southwest of the province of Buenos Aires with the intention of providing a social benefit, prioritizing road safety and minimizing the risk of accidents.
