Abstract
At the beginning of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, it was believed that the main route of infection was only through contaminated surfaces and droplets expelled by coughing or sneezing, this led to the belief that the way to avoid contagion was to maintain the distance between pairs. Recent studies show that this is false and indicate that the main route of contagion of the COVID-19 virus occurs when breathing the air exhaled by an infected person, consequently this risk increases in closed or poorly ventilated spaces. Faced with this situation, an air quality measurement system has been developed with an audible visual alarm that allows the quality of the air to be indicated in real time. This will allow knowing the quality of the surrounding air and the need to take measures to prevent the risk of contagion, the most effective way being the ventilation of rooms.
