Análisis del almacenamiento y transporte de materiales y residuos peligrosos en el área del Partido de Tres de Febrero de la Provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

Transport and storage operations of goods and hazardous waste imply possible danger associated with the accidents that can be generated, giving rise to different degrees and types of contamination that are dispersed in the environment, which end up being deposited in surface and underground waters, soil and air. Dangerous goods present a large number of risks due to their nature, so it is very important to know their chemical and physical properties and the compatibilities that they have between each other in order to be able to store and handle them properly, by means of a risk assessment, to finally formulate the corresponding contingency plans. It is for this reason that an environmental risk map is sought for the handling and storage of goods and hazardous waste in the Tres de Febrero district of the Province of Buenos Aires. The results obtained from said study will serve as a support tool for the prevention and management of risks in the area of ​​the Municipalidad de Tres de Febrero, maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the actors that are linked to this area.
