Abstract

This article analyzes the relationship between competency-based education and quality assurance processes involving industrial engineering academic agents at the National University of La Rioja. The study is derived from current documents and regulations related to quality assurance processes and competency-based education. Thus, the proposed model is a systematic study of quantitative and qualitative research methods, in this case, the selective exploration of the agents involved in the process. By means of this model, information can be processed under two approaches: statistical variables for data treatment and interview methods for information processing. In this way it will be possible to obtain the perceptions and reflections of the academic agents. Thus, in the proposed model, using a competency-based training approach, the industrial engineering career among the academic agents, are the main motivation for conducting this study.
