De la pandemia a la postpandemia: percepciones estudiantiles sobre el aprendizaje virtual y presencial.

Abstract

This research analyzes the appreciation of students from the School of Business Administration of the University of Costa Rica regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the methodologies implemented during the pandemic to teach classes, as well as their effects on academic results. It seeks to establish whether this learned technology was effectively combined with face-to-face learning in the semesters following the end of the distancing measures. Students from different levels of the Management and Public Accounting careers were interviewed on aspects such as technological access, preferences between virtual and face-to-face modalities, and the main obstacles faced. The results indicate that a mixed modality, with face-to-face and virtual classes at the same time in the same course, promotes the development of soft skills and communication among the student population, as well as the sense of belonging, problem-solving skills, and improves the quality of the learning process.
