Abstract
This article deals with the process of two art residencies – from Argentina and Guatemala (2014-2015) – that, through an art-research, takes up archival ma-terials to cross-reference them with social theories and generate interdisciplin-ary epistemic opportunities. Here, cultural diversity is expressed through visual registers and the text characterizes the work process in the residencies, where a self-managed curatorship moves from personal to micro-social work and in the process incorporates particular knowledge to the current debates of Latin American artistic practice.
