Abstract
This article adresses the discussion about forms of youth political participation in the period between 2008 and the political cycle that ended with the presidential elections of 2015 in Argentina, although we do the exercise to think what dynamics these phenomena acquired in neighboring countries. The intention is to propose some keys and axes to consider as part of a research program on the relationship between youth and politics. For this purpose different aspects of youth policy practices are analyzed, indicating those issues in innovative forms of militancy as those that replicate more traditional ways of political involvement.
