Abstract
This article presents the preliminary findings of ongoing research into the implementation of social policies as part of the reconstruction process after the forest and interface fires in the town of Lago Puelo, Chubut Province, in March 2021. We will consider intergovernmental relations (IGR) as a theoretical starting point in order to analyze the different coordination mechanisms that underpin the implementation of public policy in federal systems. We will then describe some aspects of the reconstruction process, focusing on the implementation of social policies, and outline some ideas regarding the problems that arose during this period.
