Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused social changes in different dimensions, with an increase in poverty and social inequalities. In this context, there are homeless people, who have still been forgotten in terms of public policies that guarantee their safety in terms of health. Considering this difficulty, a political-religious organization of civil society has started a project that enables a dwelling so that these people, in addition to avoiding Covid-19, can establish strategies to get off the streets. Thus, this article brings a look at this experience, in conjunction with a reflection on the situation of poverty and discrimination to which such people are subjected.
