Educational Social Management in Argentina: analysis of the First Report of the National Survey of Community Educational, Cooperative and Social Management Experiences, 2021
Abstract
The article has the objective of problematizing the production of knowledge on educational social management in Argentina. Its legal recognition is recent when, in 2006, the current National Education Law declared social management as a “third form” of management, along with private and state management options. This new figure inaugurates and challenges to think about an approach that is not limited to the classical conceptions of educational management in the way in which research has historically approached the object. The analysis of the article answers the question: What is (not) Educational Social Management? The answer is given from the dimensions of: formal/informal; state management/private management; hegemonic trajectories/subordinate trajectories; bureaucracy/post-bureaucracy; presenting itself in a dichotomous mode in order to demonstrate that our object of study is superior in that it constitutes a new order of practices and identities that configures this new educational management.
